Getting to Yangshuo

Guilin has an international airport (Lianjiang airport) and two train stations.

Taxis and private cars are available to take you from the airport to Yangshuo or to destinations within Guilin. You may also take a local bus from the train station to Yangshuo, or turn your transportation into part of the fun by embarking on the famous Li River cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo.

From Europe or the U.S.:
You can take a flight to Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, or Hongkong, and then take a connecting flight to Guilin

From Asian and Oceanic countries:
Catch a flight to Hongkong, Guangzhou, or Shanghai from Bangkok, Macau, Kuala Lumpur, and cities in Malaysia, Australia, and New Zealand. Then take a connecting flight to Guilin.

Note: Daily flights connect Hongkong and Guilin, but for a cheaper option, we suggest taking a train or bus from Hong Kong to Guangzhou or Shenzhen, and then a flight from there to Guilin.

Domestic flights: Guilin is connected by air to many Chinese cities:

From the north: Beijing, Xi'an, Shanghai

From the west: Chengdu, Chongqing, Kunming, Guiyang

From the east: Hangzhou, Shanghai, Nanjing, Changsha, and Wuhan

From the south: Nanning, Haikou, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Xiamen, and Hongkong
